"Note: This package is an update to the original Blissful Sunset and is free to everyone who previously purchased the Dream."

So i assume you will be refunding my $8.95 because I purchased Blissful Sunset and you just re-sold me the same dream. Here's an idea, how about an email offering this "free" upgrade to loyal customers. Then again I suppose it's just easier to take peoples money and worry about sorting it out later "Shame on You".
If anyone cares, this is an excellent Dream and it scales perfectly......to bad I had to pay for it twice!

Did you accidently purchase the dream a second time?
Why not (calmly) email sales@stardock.com and see if they can't help you out?
on May 09, 2007

This was the reason I included the note in the product description, to hopefully prevent people from re-purchasing the dream instead of simply redownloading the one they've previously purchased.

Please email sales@stardock.com to get the matter sorted.

I've added further clarification to the product description, hopefully to avoid this problem for anyone else.

No I didn't "accidently" purchase the dream a second time. The dream has a totally new thumbnail (showing the night version) depending where you access it from ie; the dream website or wincustomize home. If this was the reason you included the note why didn't you make it a little more prominent, instead of a footnote and why the new thumbnail? I understand it's hard to think of everything but when you've already thought of it and just made a weak attempt to avoid the problem (the footnote)you haven't done anything at all, and as far as "calmly contacting sales" I was trying to be proactive by posting this so that other customers would possibly see this and not make the same mistake I did.

thank you

Looks to me like it was your fault for not reading it thoroughly...shame on..You.

Clueless or pointless, which one are you? Did you read the part in my post where I said,

"I was trying to be proactive by posting this so that other customers would possibly see this and not make the same mistake I did." ???????

Everyone take a step back.

jedibdawg, you have to admit that your initial post (nor the comment on the dream) seemed "helpful".  it seemed more upset.

Text does not always convey the tone we are trying to convey.  Let's chalk this one up to misunderstanding and move on, OK?

Perhaps, a better way of doing it in the future would be to list it with the same thumbnail and the same name, and say it is an update. People will see it because it will be at the top of the new dreams list.

YES!!

Now that's over I can go about my clueless and pointless ways without being harrassed for it

Where the hell is that conveyed in your initial post? There's nothing remotely close to that there.

Talk about clueless...you seem to be the only one who couldn't figure it out.

Go yell at your mom to do your laundry or something.

Ok, I think the issue has been resolved and that jedidawg's point was perhaps miscommunicated.  There's no need to jump down the poor guy's throat.

Lets all go get ourselves a cookie. That will make every one feel better.

Actually I do have a serious question. I dont want to wait 4 hours to find out what happens. How does the transition between the 3 dreems work? does it happen gradually, or will it just one second switch from one to the other?
on May 09, 2007
It's a switch over without transition.

thats to bad, having the sun slowly go up, and then down would be cool, but oh well, i know that would probably prety damn hard.

I actually just discovered another issue however. For some reason whenever i reboot, it starts with a warning that "windows dream sceen is not installed" any idea why this is?
